Welcome to my website I offer residential art breaks at our home in Addlethorpe Lincolnshire. This is a beautiful part of Lincolnshire it is rural and within 1 mile of the sea. We have miles of sandy beaches, lots of old market towns, National trust properties within a 20 mile radius, and an 18 hole Golf Course and Fishing lakes within walking distance for people to visit and enjoy. This area is also very flat and ideal terrain for nice long leisurely walks. We are happy for painters to bring non painting partners as you can see there is plenty to do and see.
 ABOUT OUR LOCATIONWe live in a 250 year old Georgian house set in the village of Addlethorpe. It is set in an acre of land with a small copse, flower borders, pond and lawned areas. There are lots of little areas where you can sit peacefully and paint.  PAINTING BREAKSWe offer weekend breaks. These breaks are open breaks and do not focus on a specific area of painting. When the weather is good we will pack a lunch and head off for the beach or a rural destination close by. If the weather is not so good we can go to the studio which easily accommodates 6 people. The maximum number of persons we take at any 1 time is 4 painting people. This number ensures that each persons receives plenty of help if required. The studio is within the house and you can paint all day and night if you desire. Equally you can paint only when you chose. If you want to paint one day and sight see another that is fine. If a group of people would like to arrange a break together and all want to cover the same problem/areas of interest, I can arrange a break to be focused and structured to suit.  COSTSFor painting persons: 2 day 1 night break starts at £125. A 3 day 2 Night break starts at £195. ( All STRUCTURED BREAKS are 2 nights and 3 days). Non painting partners start at £100 for a 1 night break and £150 for a 2 night break. Please contact us for further information. These prices include bed, breakfast, lunch and evening meal including wine with eve meals and all hot and cold non alcoholic beverages. So you needn't spend a penny whilst you are here. We cater for all diets, including wheat, gluten, yeast intolerances and diabetics. Please make us aware of your needs at time of booking.  These breaks are geared to people who paint at All Levels. Beginners are welcome. I use all media except Oil paints. I offer lots of help and do demonstrations as required. Bring your own materials or use mine at an extra cost. I keep a substantial range of materials. I use all media (except oils), I particularly like to use texture. |
